  Easy and helpful car hire service, but they tried the old trick of trying to sting me for not filling up the car with petrol upon return, which I had, at the petrol station up the road approximately 5 minutes before I returned the car. Their service is easy to use, and the car was clean and well maintained, but just be careful about being charged unnecessarily at the back end.

  I am a regular customer to this branch (more than 10 times now) and the service is prompt and courteous. I start knowing the staff and they provide good service. However Avis corporation seems to have requirements not aligned with there motto "we try harder". I feel some requirements prevent employees to do their best for the end customer. For example, I forgot my Bluetooth transmitter hanged to the visor and despite my report in 24 hours, the car was gone and rules like "it would be rude to contact the next end customer using the car" did not help retrieving the device which is now lost. Another example: I had one colleague forgetting his reading glasses in an Avis car: Avis did not want to send the reading glasses even if cost would be reimbursed, the next customer who found the reading glasses had to! And my colleague reimbursed the individual for his kindness. Wouldn't be nice that corporations really provide a helping hand when a customer needs it and it is in the corporation control even if it doesn't mean an immediate profit but a long term one with loyal returning customers? This is why I m rating Avis only 3 stars.

  Friendly service, quick and easy. Prices reasonable and cars are usually less than 5000km old.
