  I paid over $2,000 for furniture. After just 13 months, I notices there were BORER inside one of the items. At first they told me, they would replace it. Then, they told me they would not!

  This is an awesome store, the staff @ the Fortitude Valley branch are very customer focussed and design orientated. Their store is beautifully laid out and packed full with an extensive range of stunning products. Make sure you allow plenty of time to explore every nook and cranny, as there are great bargains to be found. Early Settler sales are brilliant and absolutely worth checking out. I've bought many wonderful pieces over the years from other Early Settler stores, particularly in NZ. I've found their unique, quality products stand the test of time, and become treasured pieces. The few items I have sold when I've moved house, have always been snapped up by savvy buyers who know the Early Settler Recollections brand. I'm glad I've found this gem in Fortitude Valley. The Homemaker Mall has other amazing stores too, with plenty of car parks in the basement. There are 2 entrances to the Homemaker Mall car park- one off Wickham St, which is one way and the other off Montpelier St, which is two way.
